37 ladies met in Albury hall for our annual “crafty” day to get us ready for Christmas
7 members volunteered to demonstrate, and Janet was on hand with her ACCU machine to cut Xmas-ey shapes.
Here are some brief notes and lovely pictures of what went on…..
Mandy and Claire showed us how to make gift bags in lovely fun fabrics
Dotty’s table made sweet embroidered stars and hearts
Amanda’s lovely Christmas tree angels were dressed in white or red dresses overlaid with net and sparkly tulle!
Pip brought her own Christmas tree and decorated it with festive fabric cones
Isabel’s festive fir cones needed fabric, polystyrene balls and pins…. lots of them!
We made lots in silver, black, gold and red
Liz conjured up Christmas doves with elegant feathery tails.
At “Show and tell” we saw quilts from Isabel
, Doreen and Dee
Rita showed us how our contribution to “Quilts for Care Leavers” is progressing… obviously very well
Altogether it was a relaxed and happy morning and we welcomed 2 new members to our group; Julia and Jane
Everyone enjoyed the crafts on display….and fabulous cakes baked for us by Lynda and Jay……
as I hope you can see from these happy photos.
